Jobs:
I serve business executives worldwide who have no use for average results. My calling is to solve problems in depth, with efficient solutions and outcomes that stand the test of time—no snake oil, no smoke screens. Since 2011, I have been providing my business & management consulting services, business development, branding (including brand management and customer experience), industrial product design, user interaction design, and various other mission-critical services as the principal of the idéemarque agency. Some engagements are long-term retainer agreements, for example:
- Since August 2016, confidential (San Francisco): CMO
- Since March 2014, ÉTS (Montréal): Management consultant for various departments
- Feb 2012 to Oct 2013, Collabora (Montréal): Technical marketing specialist and business developer
- Apr to Aug 2011, Statistics Canada: Crew Leader
Jobs in sales, design or software development from 2000 to 2010 have been omitted from this page for brevity.

Usability, UX, and Visual Design
Usability work, Human Interface Guidelines, ergonomics and human-computer interaction are part of my blood. As an interaction designer, I have contributed in this fashion to dozens of computer software applications projects.
I have also designed icons, logos and brand architectures used in many software applications or in various businesses.
My portfolio is not available online. Email me and I will be happy to send you a tailored version.
Bug reports
My continued involvement in Free and Open Source software has made me file hundreds of bug reports and thousands of comments on various pieces of software that I have used and loved. Over time, I have involved myself in bug triaging to ease the developers' task. My bug reports are scattered over the web, but are for the most part contained in:
I also have a list of some of the top bugs I'm proud to have helped solve or investigate.
I maintained Pitivi's automated user interface test suite for some years.
